Dale Berry

Academy Co-Director

Assistant Director Dale Berry played 4 years of scholarship tennis at Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, NC. While maintaining a ranking as high as 7th and 11th in the country for the 1987-89 seasons he earned his bachelor degree in business administration. After graduation Dale taught at the Nick Bolletieri Tennis Academy working closely with Jimmy Bolletieri and Susan Incardone in Junior Development. Moving to Atlanta for the first time in 1994 Dale has worked with hundreds of ALTA and USTA junior and adult teams, coaching many to city, state, regional and national championships. He has also worked as a private coach to numerous top nationally ranked juniors and cureent touring pros. Dale is PTR certified and has been at TOP Tennis for 4 years, instructing in all groups. Amanda McDowell - 2008 ITA National Player of the Year and 2008 Honda Award winner, NCAA singles champion - GA Tech Melissa Mang - Duke University tennis player, won the clinching point in the NCAA National Championship match against California in 2009 Ashley Harkleroad - former junior player from GA who reached a career high WTA ranking of 39 in the world.
